4 states, 5 races, 2 wins and 5 podiums! Just another day at the office for Kenda Pro Cycling’s riders, preparing for this season’s NRC and UCI calendars, which start for us April 18, at the Tour of the Battenkill. Congratulations to Ben Renkema and Remi McManus, who both captured their first victories of the 2009 season today! Scottie Weiss and Chad Burdzilauskas also made podium appearances in 3rd and 2nd, respectively, over the weekend.

We make and ride trainers for a living so you’d think winter dragging its tail wouldn’t bother us. But you know it does. Because the arrival of spring every year means one thing at Kurt. R+D shifts up a gear or two – and we start making crazy plans for next winter. In the off season (for trainers) we get busy sharpening pencils and bending tubes. So when you’re out on the road spare a thought for our engineers: working year round to make your basement just a little cooler and a little more fun when the snow flies again.
